I hope I am able to jump back on this entry and blog my range of thoughts over the past six months of dance class. However, I do want to post Quinn's rehearsal night picture this morning for Grandma!

Strawberry Fields!
We ventured up to Mercier Orchards to try out their strawberry picking. It was so much fun! A great Mother's Day outing! This needs to become a new tradition. Today Jake and Quinn are carting bags of red, ripe juicy strawberries to their schools to share their bounty with teachers. Yum!
Pre-picking clean smile...
Searching for red, ripe juicy strawberries...
Bountiful harvest!
Sweet!
Jake's collection
The green berries may lure us back for a future harvest!
Picnic
Quinn,
You LOVE to play "kitchen set." This has become a catch all phrase for directing and starring in your own production of play. It's pretty easy to play with you because you have a clear idea of what to do and how to do it. You assign roles to your playmates. (Mostly me and Jake.) You allow us to ad lib; however, you have a firm grasp on the direction you want us to take. In this picture we are having an indoor picnic which I discover is a translation for moving the entirety of your room into mine and setting up shop.

Old Car City
A friend introduced us to an interesting Georgia site last weekend. We really enjoyed exploring this graveyard of old cars.

Tellus Science Museum
What a great hands on museum! We walked through time examining dinosaur bones, fossils, rocks & minerals and various modes of transportation. We played with the power of magnets, circuits, light refraction and sound waves. We panned for gems, dug for fossils and bones and even came home with some shark teeth!
